「フォレストアドベンチャー小田原」は、いくつものエリアが複合的に存在しているため、何回か行ってもあきずに遊べることができます。
まずは、駐車場も大きく休憩できる場所・トイレもあるので、終日遊ぶことが可能です。できれば、春・秋の気候がいい時にいくのがおすすめです。
各施設の中では、一番人気があるのはアスレチック部分になると思います。
まさに山の中にアスレチック遊具がかなりの数配置されています。10歳前後の子供と行きましたがもう少し高い年齢の子まで楽しめると思います。
我が家は、兄弟がいるので家族で行きましたが、友達と一緒に行くことをおすすめします。
もう１つの特徴は、小田原という地域を活かした「小田原城アドベンチャー」のエリアです。
遊具の１つではあるのですが、小田原城を再現していることで子供たちは普段の遊具とは違うことがわかるので、特別感を味わえると思います。
なお、アスレチックは身長制限があるため、年が少し離れた兄弟で行った場合どちらかがアスレチックで遊べないということがあります。
但し、その場合においても、年齢に合わせた遊具が置いているゾーンがいくつかあります。行く前から別々で遊ぶような話をしてから行くことで問題ないのではないかと思います。
