昭和記念公園内にあります こどもの森は子供達が楽しめる設備がたくさんありそばには複数の屋台も出ているので、子供達が 全力で遊んで 少し休憩してとしているだけで半日は あっという間に過ぎていく素敵なスペースです。
特に、こどもの森の奥の方にある 雲の海(ふわふわドーム)は おすすめで、白い布でできたドーム状のトランポリンの上では園児から中学生まで 男の子女の子関係なく 多くのお子さんが 飛び跳ね 走り回っています。
この ふわふわドームですが 都内をはじめとした いくつかの公園にも設置されているそうですが、こちら、こどもの森にあるものは かなり大きい上に3つのドームが設置されているので、園児のお子さんから中学生のお子さんまで それぞれ遊べる場所が分かれていて安心して遊べるようになっています。
屋外に設置のふわふわで真っ白のドーム型トランポリンですが、見た感じのインパクトもすごく、多くのお子さんが体力の限り 時間を忘れて 跳ね回っているので、天気の良い日は 水分補給もこまめにさせないといけないかもしれません。
周囲にはベンチもありますが とても陽当たりが良いので、親御さんはシートと日焼け止め対策が必要になるでしょう。
なお、こどもの森は昭和記念公園でも奥の方にあるので、行く際はパークトレインでの移動をお勧めします。
お出かけする際の注意点
とても広い公園ですので移動でかなり体力を使います。園内では パークトレインの利用や電車での移動でしたら西立川口の利用も考えてください。あと、ふわふわドームでは靴を脱いでの利用となります。替えの靴下も用意しておくと良いと思います。
