アソブーンは、有料の屋内遊び場ですが、施設内の奥には屋外エリアがあります。ちょっとした水遊びやアスレチックが楽しめるのが魅力です。水遊びは、じゃぶじゃぶ池ではなく、井戸のようなものを押して水路に水を流したり、バケツやパイプを使って砂場まで水を流すような感じです。小学生から2歳くらいの子供までいましたが、順番を守りながら、水を流す遊びを楽しんでいました。
屋内には、体を動かすことが好きな子供が喜びそうなボールプールとアスレチックが一緒になったエリアや、三輪車競争ができるエリア、ビニール製のキャタピラのような輪っかなどがありました。その他にも、テントでごっこ遊びができるスペースや、おままごとや楽器ができるスペース、ピタゴラスイッチが好きな子供が夢中になるボールを穴から落として遊ぶ場所などもありました。遊びの好みが異なる子供たちでも楽しめる、バランスの取れた屋内遊び場だと思いました。
屋外スペースでは水遊びができる場所に、手や足を洗える水道が設置されていますが、屋外エリアに出る前にタオルと着替えを持って行くことをおすすめします。
アソブーンは、イイナパーク川口内に位置しています。同じ敷地内には大きなふわふわドームもあり、そちらは無料で遊ぶことができます。
お出かけする際の注意点
土日祝日は大変混んでいるらしく、我が家が行ったのも連休最終日でしたが、オープンは9時でしたが１時間前から並んで割と前の方でしたので、9時からの回で入場することができました。現在では土日祝日や特定日は7時からオンライン受付を行なっているみたいなので、無駄に早く並ばなくてもよくなったようです。
